"That's insane," said Mary Jo DeGrazia, an attorney who represents medical marijuana patients in the state, referring to current price.
"They're making up for this by overcharging people things they can get at their own doctor's office," she added.

The commission also paid for medical marijuana doctors who are licensed by state officials to prescribe the drug.
Commissioners also funded a legal defense fund of about $700,000 through its operations and operations' commission.
Another $500,000 was spent on public education and outreach, according to the report.
Marijuana Commissioner Larry Strickland said the money is not going toward general operating spending.
"I think we've done a good job with the public's education," Strickland said. "I think we've done a good job with the patient-to-doctor communications. … These efforts are all very much in keeping with the priorities of commission.
"We're going to be able continue this effort in the future for future," he said. "But we have to do things with t
